Final Fantasy VII:Advent Children Characters
The Characters: Cloud Strife Employed by an Anti-Shinra organization called AVALANCHE, he worked with other members, but he was sucked into a deep whirlwind of big battles involving the "star". They fought for the planet and saved the "star". Although he lost himslef in past memories, in the long journey of FFVII, he was able to find his real identity again. Now he he refuses to associate himself with other people and lives a solitary life.
Aeris Gainsbough As we know, Aeris was killed in the orginal video game, Final Fantasy VII. Well now, its 2 years after that and we are seeing some images of Aeris with Cloud. One would guess that Aeris is dead and all we see are but some memories that Cloud must deal with.
Barret Wallace Two years ago he was the leader of the anti-shinra organization, "AVALANCHE". After losing his right are, he had it replaced with a Gun-arm weapon to be used in battle. His adopted daughter, Marlene, is this modtivation in life. Currently, Barret has entrusted Marlene into Tifa's care, while he is involved with the mining of the new Mako Energy replacement. From what we understand, Marlene could be in danger of the Planet Scar Sydrom. Because: "Children are always the first to suffer".
Cid Highwind Cid is a touch-talking, warm-hearted old pilot who hasn't forgotten his dreams. There's no better pilot by air or sea. He believes that someday he'll fly to the ends of the universe. With his handmade spear and knowledge of machinery, he throws himself into any attack regardless of the danger.
Denzel We do not know very much about Denzel at this point. We do know that he might be one of the children or orphans. Denzel is seen in a bed: resting or something. He could prehaps have the Planet Scar Sydrome.
Kadaj Kadaj is the leader of the group of three who purue Cloud. These three are all brothers. Kadaj is purely insane, he is calm but brutal, childish but an intellectual. His mental energy is tremendously fierce. He uses two swords, known as Souba(twin blades). Of these two, one is the normal blade and the other is a shadow blade. These are very confusing in battle, which makes him hard to fight. Even if you managed to avoid these blades, the slashes of his two backup long swords would be difficult to counter. There is meaning behind Kadaj's name.
Loz Despote his strong, muscular appearance, his true personality is childish and weak. His primary weapon is called "Duel Hound", a combination of a shield and stun gun. We saw him fighing Tifa in the church, then we saw Tifa..to what seemed to be a dead Tifa. Did Loz kill Tifa?
marlene We don't know much about Marlene, the only thing we do know is Tifa was looking after her. Marlene is Barrets adopted daughter.
Red XIII We have seen Red XIII in the trailers. We don't know what his role is just yet. From what we see in the trailers, he is fighting a Phiend.
Reno Reno is apart of the Turks. He is in the movie, but we don't know much about him right now.
Rude Apart of the Turks, We do not know any else about him.
Sephiroth Even amongst the elite troops of SOLDIER, Sephiroth was a legendary swordsman. He was even once known as a hero. But once he discovered that he had been created by Shinra, he developed immense hatred against all mankind which posed a new threat to the very existence of the "star". Sephiroth was once assumed defeated, but now he appears as a reminicing image in front of Cloud. Sephiroth is alive. I have seen a image of him, from daeya.org. There is no way to tell for real though. He is alive, when Kadaj was fused with Jenova's neck. sephiroth was reborn. but defeated by cloud in the end.
Tifa Lockheart Cloud's Childhood friend, she is the only one who know the truth about Cloud's past. A highly skilled martial artist, she was an important member of the anti-shinra organization "AVALANCHE" until two years ago. She currently works at her bar, "Seventh Heaven", while taking care of Marlene and the other orphans. In on some screen shots we see images of Tifa knocked out or possibely dead.
Vincent Valentine A former Turk gunman. Used in past experiment by Shinra, his body was reconstructed with the ability to transform into an immortal monster, never aging, never dying. He is forced to live with the burden of that destiny evermore.In his solitude, Vincent ovserved the world as it changed around him, and he now holds some information about the obstables that lie ahead. Vincent, in the movie seems to help cloud.
Rufus Rufus is important in the film. We see him a lot in the trailers. We see him talk to Cloud, Kadaj, Reno and Rude. Apparently he plays some type of important role.
Yazoo An elusive youth with a distant air. His weapon is "Velvet Nightmare", a gun made in the image of a double barrelled sword. (His only ability)
Yuffie Kisaragi Yuffie comes from a long line of NinJa. Shes sneaky, arrogant and "way" Selfish. We see Yuffie helping Red and Barret fighting the large Phiend. Yuffie still uses Boomerang for a weapon.
Zack We know nothing about Zack.
Cait Sith Cait Sith is controlled by Reeve, who worked for Shin-Ra. Cait Sith used to ride on top of a giant stuffed Mog, which he controlled with the use of a Megaphone.
